ADA — When Ohio Northern University’s $71 million student housing transformation is complete in 10 years, the oldest housing facility on campus will be apartments built in 2001.

“We are, during the course of the next eight to 10 years, transforming the housing options that are available on the Ohio Northern University campus,” President Kendall Baker said.

Wow, that's a big project.  I was at Ohio Northern just once, five or six years ago, and I probably saw the dorms but have no memory of what they are like.

Thank God. I visited there a long time ago when considering college and ONU had the absolute worst dorms I'd ever seen. It was just a really big, long connected building that housed ALL of their undergrads. It was cramped and poorly designed, and needless to say, I didn't go there.

Beth L. Jokinen | bjokinen@limanews.com - 06.02.2007

ADA — For years potential students and families have visited Ohio Northern University, and others have come on campus to attend performances or other events.
