UrbanOhio T-Shirt - Design CONTEST!!!

Recommended Posts

We need help designing an UO t-shirt and what better people to help out but you!

I would like to see someting that looks good and is wearable almost anywhere.  Not a big fan of designs on the back with a little logo in the front.  What are some of your suggestions?

The winning design will get a free t-shirt, $50 + A SURPRISE!!!, and whatever else we can think of.  As of now the tentative deadline will be Oct 10th.

Edit:

Images that could possibly be used.

I agree, nothing on the back. I would like to see something to counter that "friends don't let friends move to Ohio" theme. I am seeing this shirt more and more.

Something campy and tongue- in- cheek that would have wide spread appeal and maybe make some money for this site.. Not something dorky and boring that 5% of members will buy

I like the Cincinnati Brand T's slogan from "nati evolvement" ...

"Find your soul in the city" ... I think it promotes an urban lifestyle in the city and since most of our cities are old(er) it's relevant.

well most people are incredibly unattractive, so what can you do?

Sorry - should have clarified - these weren't people lacking attractive physical features; these poor things were incredibly unaware of their unattractiveness, yet had a overinflated self-image.

Is anyone even thinking about designing one?

When the insanity of work and whatnot that has consumed my life subsides in the next week, I'd like to put something together. Has no one else submitted anything? We have some design students who could use the exposure and beefing up their portfolio, where are you folks?

I like these existing designs:

T-shirt across the chest or small embroider on a polo (front side only)

I agree, nothing on the back.

I don't know.  A friend of mine once had a green T-shirt that only had a design on the back.  There was nothing at all on the front.  I thought it was pretty cool.  I agree that I don't like a big design on the back and a small one on the front, but I wouldn't mind seeing a non-white T with a plain front and the urbanohio logo on the back across the shoulders.

what about some kind of defend urban ohio tee? (it sure beats ed hardy style tees).

wait. a faux ed hardy might be funny?

maybe someone could take ed hardy off and write in urban ohio in script?

Hey, 50 dollars is better than just taking your design and simply not paying you a dime!

My bad, I'm on the nicotine patch step 2 and its making me irritable.

The contest shouldn't even be about money. For most of us, this site is a second home. I'm gonna sketch some designs first tonight. I have some ideas.

Only 8 days left until the deadline.  Anyone want to guess how many submissions we have so far???    HINT:  Whatever you think it is, multiply it by 0 and that's the answer.

OK Kids....I know you whippersnappers can come up with something.

You're the "fashion guru".

And the guru is providing a special secret gift in addition to the $50!

Damnit!
