No way I'm donating to a POS site that can't even have properly-functioning links!

I really don't give a f_ _ _ what architects think. It's like a weather man coming onto my lawn, pissing and telling me it's raining. He might be a weather man and might know a few things about weather, but I'll be damned if I'm going to accept his pissing as rain because he is a weather man. - Comrade Zombie

^ OK, you say elsewhere it was the worst joke of the year, but now it's worthy of "favorite quote" honors? Can I really count on you, Marc?

"Nearly every problem that we have in the USA -- unaffordable health care, prison overpopulation, hyper militarization, climate change, racism, gun violence, poverty, poor education, urban sprawl and others -- cannot be positively addressed because bribery and conflicts of interest are legal under campaign finance laws which protect the uber-wealthy and the narrow self-interests who grossly benefit from our afflictions."

Those people also happen to contribute more to other threads in other sections that ARE Ohio-related, rather than maintaining a one-man circlejerk to this Jenga-project.

From the Pope:  I really should strive to be more rob-like, start fixing up old tractors, move to a semi-rural area, find a 30 year old sweater and scan some ektachromes

Or this retort from Rob1412:  Survival in Fort Wayne would be difficult without a sense of humor. By tolerating the preposterous and embracing the merely ridiculous and ironic, I manage to thrive here.

I don't see your point about Bush standing for what he believed in.  There are many evil people in the world that stand for what they believe in.  Bush has been one of the worst Presidents of our generation on the environment, public transportation, government spending.  As someone who is a former Air Force veteran and currently working in the government sector, I am disgraced by this current administration.  Does that make me unpatriotic?  Absolutely not, I am a free thinker and don't just throw 10 yellow ribbon stickers on my car that were made in China and bought in a gas station just because that is the sheep thing to do.  I love my country and I will be damned if I am going to keep my mouth shut because that is the misguided patriotic thing to do.  This President has failed myself and other Americans.

I just want to say this is an absolutely beautiful quote.

Monte, you kick ass. :-D

Monkeys mess up the U.S. transportation system, too. They almost never ride public transportation, though.

They sit in offices and formulate bad policy. Some are elected, but usually they're appointed by elected officials.

The solution here isn't langurs, but an informed electorate, and it's probably easier to train langurs than to educate

voters who relate to Bubba and identify with the Dukes of Hazzard. -Rob

I really need to "throw my signs" when I go for a drink at Twist - that crowd will rumble at the

drop of a hat! In fact, I almost sat on some crackhead when I got my smoothie over Liquid Planet.

Check this out - one time I was waiting for my bus on Clifton and I saw three cars run the red

light on Clifton during rush hour! Them sure is some rough streets over here in the E-Dub! West

I think that thread was locked because gaslight went into a drunken rage; also, a thread dedicated to the same movie was already created.

Gaslight's new nickname is Mel Gibson. :drunk: lol
