I know this isn't story time but this shot made me think about it..... I think it happened in the late 80s, it was either someone washing the windows or it was an actual suicide attempt. But I can remember being downtown with my mom and someone fell thru that glass atrium at Huntington Bank in this pic. Not sure if the person died or not..... does anyone else remember that?

Cmon Buggyworks, it's time to revisit that Phase II tower from 2007-2008! Now is a great time to at least put it back out there. Downtown living is about to boom

I was thinking the same thing! First thing that pops in my head when I see the Buckeye Store

"The Macon" this was a very popular nite club in the 80s and 90s. I was not "old enough" to enjoy this place but my father also owned a niteclub around the corner from here and he knew the owner so I would sneak in the back door with him when I was still in HS and the place used to be really nice inside. Lots of live jazz bands and soul food! I will have to look through some of my parents old photo albums and see if I can find some pics they took inside The Macon!

I can sort of remember back in the early 80s my grandma and I walking to this building from Ohio Ave. It was a small corner store with a butcher in the back!

Maybe I'm blind but doesn't 250 High St. condo (currently under construction) kind of look like Phase II of this original project

I ride by there almost everyday and on Monday I looked up and said the exact same thing.....not sure when this happened
