  2. Yeah, those ERJ-145 "needlenose" planes are like overgrown Lear Jets without the creature comforts...speaking of...The ERJ-145s are cramped and you can feel every bump. The ERJ-175 planes look like real airliners...they remind me of mini-Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
  3. Frontier Airlines to restart service to Fort Lauderdale, Miami from Cleveland Hopkins; fares start at $49 CLEVELAND, Ohio — Frontier Airlines will restart nonstop service between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Fort Lauderdale and Miami, two routes it has flown before. The routes start in October, with an introductory fare sale of $49 one way. The new Miami service will run four times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Service to Fort Lauderdale will run three times per week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. 4. Announced earlier this month... More flights for the summer season. Would be nice if these flights were year-round but not sure whether or not these airlines can justify year-round service at this time. Among the newest offerings: In May, Frontier Airlines started flying between Cleveland and Charleston, South Carolina, twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The seasonal route is scheduled through early November. Allegiant Air starts flying between Cleveland and Charleston on June 6, also on Thursdays and Sundays. Allegiant also is adding new service to Norfolk, Virginia, starting June 7. That route will run Fridays and Mondays. Cleveland hasn’t had nonstop service to Norfolk since 2008, when United Airlines offered the route. Both the Charleston and Norfolk routes are scheduled through mid-August More here: https://www.cleveland.com/business/2019/06/cleveland-hopkins-ups-service-to-southeast-coast-with-new-flights-to-charleston-norfolk-more.html
  5. Looks like Diebold Nixdorf is bringing over 200 jobs to North Canton... Diebold Nixdorf will move 215 jobs to the Hoover District as it consolidates assembly for some of its retail point-of-sale cashier check-out machinery. The company has a five-year lease for a 200,000-square-foot space previously used by Suarez Corporation Industries. Diebold Nixdorf hopes to have some operations in the building by August.
