  1. I've wondered the same thing. How long does that tax last? Does it actually ever end?
  2. I can't imagine it is taller then GE. If I remember correctly the county had to get permission from the Bengals for the GE building b/c the HVAC on top of the building exceeded the height limit within the Banks zone. Maybe this changed.
  3. I'm actually most interested to see how the development around the site comes together. That is what will activate this area of the West End/OTR. I imagine it will happen more quickly then the development between the stadiums at the Banks. It will be interesting to see how they design the development to wrap around the East and North sides of the stadium site.
  4. Does anyone knows if they ever plan on building a northbound I-75 Exit ramp for Ezzard Charles or Liberty Street? Currently when coming from Kentucky you either exit downtown or on 50 West. If you miss those exits your next option is Hopple Street. As a West End resident I understand the 50 West exit, but it can be quiet a challenge for those not familiar. However.. I do appreciate that not having this exit ramp probably reduces the amount of traffic flying down Ezzard Charles.
  5. Who is termed limited off council? Do the new term limits give people the chance of running for a third term?
  6. Great share! It's interesting to look at it from this standpoint. While this type of measure is tough on Cleveland b/c of the lake its interesting to see Cincinnati's number. This type of measure picks up some of the dense urban Northern Kentucky river cities that not often included as part of Cincy's urban core.
  7. I think Cam and the Better Bus Coalition are doing a great job of keeping this issue in the media. SORTA has been ineffective in leading on this issue. I very much support better public transit, but agree that a tax that is not on a county level will face push back. Would an increase in the city income tax just shore up the current system, or would it provide enough funding to build Bus Rapid Transit lines?
