  1. Panini's closed suddenly. https://www.cleveland19.com/2019/07/29/paninis-bar-grill-prospect-ontario-cleveland-closes/?fbclid=IwAR1O0hipj2RPBHlaLVHWXgQcWka4rLj3krP5zXjaFapexxBJDtnXOwWZDdo
  2. She posted one not too long ago....Shake Shack coming to downtown. To the Garfield Building. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2018/12/shake-shack-lines-up-downtown-cleveland-location-at-garfield-building.html
  3. I saw a letter circulating around on Facebook that RCO limited wants to raze Bob Evans on Detroit and build a Raising Cane's chicken fingers restaurant. Did Bob Evans close? Isn't that building fairly new?
  4. Hoping they clean the facade! Who knows? Maybe it will look like the schofield once it's all polished!
  5. We got a letter in the mail a couple months ago to discuss the possibility of tearing down the 1 story vacant brick building on the corner of Westlake and Detroit to build a Wendy's. I believe the vacant building is owned by a church and used to house Streat Burger.
  6. My dad used to work for AT&T (sometimes in that building) and he said it is jammed full of the central exchanges and switches for Cleveland (as you might imagine). I'm guessing the top two floors will be retained by them for their cell network access. I used to live in the building across the street (the finance building) on the 6th floor and we could see into the AT&T building all the time but rarely ever saw people. Mostly just servers and equipment. Pretty cool!
  7. That's odd? Isn't that right next door to Titans Gym? Not right next door but yes a couple minute walk.
  8. Read's Jeweler's and Loan moved out of their space on Prospect (by city tap, winking lizard, bw3, etc) and moved to a new location on St. Clair. Heard a gym is opening up in the space that was previously occupied by Read's.
  9. Work has started on this project. They have a cherry picker on site and have started removing the parging on the face of the building. Will definitely be an improvement over this now vacant part of Madison. Pretty excited to taste their rums! 8-)
  10. Yeah, Stark has done a good job in Westlake and Woodmere, but our experience with him in Cleveland is all talk and no show. Only he can change that perception, and he hasn't done much yet to do so. What was stark responsible for in Woodmere? Eton or something completely different?
  11. Here's a crappy picture I took yesterday of the new sign that went up. (the sign went up one night earlier this week). They were power washing the sidewalk out front yesterday. Looks like they could open this weekend?
  12. No, BW3 is going in across the street at 724 Prospect. This place is part of the Red Restaurant Group: http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2015/11/06/details-emerge-on-red-based-restaurant-to-open-on-prospect-avenue 811 Kitchen has a sign in their window saying they are open in July. Big flat screen tvs were delivered today. Also BW3 says they are opening June 28. Signage went up on both sides of the building earlier this week.

  14. The neon sign on the roof of the Q is lit up tonight. Can't tell if they are still testing it or not as I am not high enough. But I can see it from my 6th floor window. Just in time for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals tomorrow!
  15. Here's a picture of the new banner. Not sure if it has been posted elsewhere or not. http://www.wkyc.com/news/local/sherwin-williams-sign-to-replace-lebron-mural-for-rnc/174924894
